About

 
Eran Webber grew up in a kibbutz on the   Carmel Coast of Israel.
His artistic training began in high school and at evening courses in Tel Aviv. In 2007, Webber moved to Italy  to study the fundamentals of classical figurative art and was accepted to The Florence Academy of Art’s Sculpture Program.He graduated in 2010, and joined the faculty of the academy until 2013 as the Principal Instructor of the Sculpture Program. 
In 2013,  Webber founded the sculpture department at the "Ha’Tachana" school in Tel Aviv. At the same time, he returned to his hometown, Moshav Habonim, where he founded 'Atelier Webber', an institution that combines Eran's activities as an artist alongside teaching figurative sculpture and drawing in traditional techniques.
Webber is exhibiting & teaching internationally. His work can be found in private collections throughout Europe, Israel and the United States.

SANGUINE MODEL DRAWING

WORKSHOP

AUGUST 2023, IL

Three days of practicing observational techniques, working in Sanguine chalk from a live model.
The sanguine is a soft, spreadable medium that requires movement between the hand and the paper, it can be used by fingers, smears and layers, building to produce volumes and multiple shades in a short time.

Course programme:

- Observational & Sanguine techniques and demos.
- Three preparatory sketches
- Followed by a long pose.
- Daily personal and group critiques.

An intensive portrait sculpture workshop, 30h of observation in front of a live model, focusing on academic methods as well as anatomical landmarks. Daily personal and group critiques to help you refine your process.

Course programme:

- Observational techniques and anatomy demos.
- Study of a human skull (water based clay).
- A portrait from life (water based clay).
